Once upon a time, I started this website with the goal to run everyday and then take a trip to a destination equal to the number of miles ran. That ended up being a silly goal because life got in the way. Needless to say, my body has developed into a fluffy marshmallow consistency, and my work-from-home life has aided this development.
So what’s going on now that I’m posting on this site again? I rejoined a gym after a five-year hiatus, and I hired a personal trainer for weekly sessions. The trainer’s name is Matt, and he kicks my ass. Like, sometimes I have to limp back to my car and then sit for a few minutes for legs to start working again.
The goal of this website is for me to show accountability to my progress. No silly year-long time constraints this time. Just me working out and getting fitter.
